The hinges and flat washers with a special shape at the front and temple gaps, which are the icons of this model, were inspired by part of the zipper of a vintage flight jacket. By engaging the flat washer, the hinge acts over a wide area, so there is a functional advantage that it is difficult to loosen. The Square Wellington, which can be said to be the standard of EYEVAN 7285, is accented with Sun Platinum's square-shaped decorative riveted metal fittings.

Inspired by good and old technique we have developed such a front as Acetate x Inner Metal rim – visible metal rim with acetate wrapped around that is quite unconventional. FLAT lens makes its design even more unordinary and creative.
